Terrible case! Police are hunting a man in Ohio after six bodies have been found "in and around" a house in Cleveland. He is a convicted rapist who was in prison from 1990 to 2005 and is a suspect in the six murders. Some of the victims were found in a crawl space and in shallow graves, and two were found upstairs in the home. The house was owned by a relative of the man being sought (Anthony Sowell ), but he did not live there. The murders apparently took place over a period of time, and two bodies found in the house were badly decomposed. None of the bodies have been identified, and the genders of only two of the victims (both female) have been determined.

I feel bad for the young woman being interviewed, to not have a clue what happened to her mom.

The video's been deleted :(

But I'm confused. Were any of these recent (2009) cases reported to
police at the time? Two bodies had already been found in the home,
he was "resting on the couch" and they allowed him to be driven away?

Ya know. The "profilers" always said serial killers were middle-aged
white men...blah blah blah. Now, we're finding out that they were wrong -
and that perhaps it's a case of not tying together the deaths of other
races.

The video made me once again dislike tv news reporters. The one woman nearly collapsed with emotion and sobbed for a couple of minutes straight, and they made sure to get a close up and to continue to ask her provocative questions.

The guy was on the couch at his *sister's place, discovered there by a friend. LE had just found bodies at his house and didn't know where he was. It was later that the friend's story came out, and by that time the guy was long gone. In fact the friend had him in the car and was driving him back to his house, but he got out before they go there.

I'm not sure the cops made mistakes, except for having faulty noses when they'd been to his house on previous visits. There was at least one victim who flagged down a police car when she escaped, but then wouldn't follow thru.

It's starting to sound Dahmer-ish, isn't it?

If the reporters had invaded the woman's home, they'd be open
to criticism. But, they were likely already there when the woman
decided to enter the area and emote. Maybe she wanted to be
on the camera? I'll bet, if we saw the entire tape, we'd see them
as if she wanted to be interviewed.
