she died of drowning, so yes, she was alive in the water (unless
somebody drowned her in a bathtub and then put her in the water).

My oversight perhaps, but I don't recall the presence of water in her
lungs being mentioned, and if true, was the water from the lake or a
city tap? GC/MS should be able to differentiate.

No, but they did say the cause of death was drowning,
which would tend to imply water in the lungs.

Hi... I'm Tanja Katrinas sister (yes this is legitimate). I stumbled
across this discussion (through google alerts which I have had on
since the incident). Is there anyone that can assist me in ways of
finding out what is going on with the investigation / coroner etc....
to date we literally have had NO INFORMATION. The detectives are
constantly just telling us they have various investigations they are
working on but cannot divulge any information.... what I have read
above is almost more than what detectives have told us. My family has
literally fallen apart, My mother is so distraught she is no longer
herself and has been admitted to a home my father is devestated and
depressed.... we are just looking for answers. If there is anyone on
here that can help in any way I would be ever so grateful.

Thank you

.
