Ventura, CA-- The investigation into the fatal stabbings at Faria Beach
and Ventura Keys have neighbors on edge.

Officials still assert that they have found "no direct link" between the
May 20th murders of Brock Husted and his pregnant wife and the slaying of
Wendy Dirodio on June 3rd. Investigators say it would be irresponsible to
disclose information that may hinder an arrest.

However, neighbors who live near the crime scenes say they are anxious
hear regular updates and information.

Residents along the coast say they are seeing a beefed up police presence
and some people we spoke to say they have added home security systems.

I understand LE not wanting to reveal too much info. But if I were a
resident I'd sure want to know WTH is going on. Added police presence, well
that's good, but -?
