I feel sorry for them too, including the wife. I am extremely curious
about her and her life both before and after his arrest etc. I also
cannot imagine not snooping where there seemed to be stuff explicity
hidden specificallyfrom me. OTOH, if he had crap around and was a PITA
generally, could be the poor woman just didn't have any interest in him
or his secrets, just stayed married for the sake of her religion and
her children. I wish she'd publish or give an interview.

The last I'd heard/read about Rader's family was that the son attempted
suicide. The daughter was married, so she in effect didn't have the
*rader* name. She lived somewhere in Michigan with her husband, and her
mother relocated near to where the daughter lives/lived.

Where'd you read this stuff, td? Good intel, can you point me in the
right direction? I didn't see any of that, dang it.

I can't recall where I read that, it was in the process of finding the
*right* words to google in my attempt to discover how his wife and
children were doing. Here's a couple links to get you started anyway. It
looks like the wife, Paula, has possibly moved back to Kansas.
I feel for his poor family, the wife and grown children.
Thx for these, and there were more good links at each too. One of the
articles confirmed that Paula moved back to the area, and resumed her old
job as a bookkeeper at the convenience store where she worked for so long.
She and her daughter holed up together somewhere for an unspecified length
of time to escape the media. Paula hadn't yet returned to the church, but
the article was a couple of years old, so maybe she has by now. Her parents
were founders of that church, if I read correctly. Also, her son was in navy
basic training when BTK was arrested, and it was there he was put on suicide
watch, maybe had him in the infirmary. He's still in the navy, or again, was
a couple of years ago. Just such an average, ordinary (in a good way)
Midwestern family - with a monster for a father. Fascinates me.
