I'm confused. Lord knows I don't read everything in here, but I
hadn't seen anyone insulting you recently.
I'm asking because I've been making some veiled references, but they
weren't directed at you.

Oh heck no, certainly not you. I've been hassled about my apostrophe
usage by certain individuals here to no end.
Oooh, the apostrophe guy? Who made an error of his own? I remember
that. Some people, I think that's the only time I recall seeing him/
her post as well. You weren't the only one s/he jumped on for that
though (as I recall, someone even wrote back, intentionally putting
apostrophe's <giggle> where they didn't belong).
I merely wanted to point out
one can correct someone without resorting to childish name calling and
insults. I listed just a small portion below: too busy to rehash all
this, just had to laugh at the mien comf, or what ever, after remarks about
my own lack of intelligence, lack of reading, lack of curiosity, etc.
Are you from that area (mentioned below?). I didn't know that. I
lived in Andalusia, Alabama for way too long (about 3.5 years). Now I
live in Colorado.
Politics is generally something to be avoided in large groups, such as
this one. We don't really know each other, and like religion, it sets
too many people off too easily.

And I, as a woman, am insulted that the republican party can toss up a
female candidate, the likes of sarah palin, and *assume* she will *pass*

republicans wanted a female candidate, they should have chosen someone
the
likes of Olympia Snowe or Kay Bailey Hutchenson. someone with experience
and intelligence, and a curiosity to learn what she may not know.
She wasn't picked just because she was female any more than that Kennedy
chick ... "ya know" what's her name was picked to possibly replace
Hillary.
When Biden or Obama or others make their 'gaffes', it's apparent it isn't
*all* they have to offer, unlike Palin.
You might be the stupidest person I ever encountered, and that's really
saying something.
