And Casey Anthony isn't your daughter! You can't FORCE the legal
guardian to bring her child over for a visit....even he the child was
alive.

There are a LOT of grandparents that aren't "allowed" to see their
grandchildren because of friction in the family.

Hi,

I agree.There are many grandparents that for whatever reason are not
allowed to see their grandchild.Some rightfully so.

My point was that George Anthony did not make concerted effort to
locate his grandchild until his wife got mad at Casey for stealing
from the great-grandfather.Then and only then did he act like a
concerned grandfather.Caylee lived with him for goodness sakes.

They had a falling out and Casey and Caylee packed up went to live with a friend. No big deal, Casey was not only a mother but an adult.
She told George and Cindy that she had a job and was going to work every day and Caylee was staying with friends or a nanny. I don't think a month is that unusual to have not had contact with them, especially since there was some tension between them all for the crap Casey had been pulling.

At that time there was no reason for George to make a concerted effort to "locate" his granddaughter because he didn't think of her as missing. Nor did they suspect fowl play at first.
