In other words, he's a tool willing to sacrifice himself for
his daughter, blame others, and broadcast a "suicide attempt"
via text messages, to his friends.....so he could be found
before he had to go through with anything.

After all, if he didn't want to be found, he'd have turned
off his cellphone so they couldn't triangulate on it as
quickly as they did.

I would give the Mr. Anthony some slack. His world is collapsing
around him, whether he was crying out for attention or going through
the
process to finally commit suicide. He needs some help and a little
sympathy. Whether George and Cindy Anthony are very indirectly
involved
in Caylee's death, they are victims in this crime, that they had no
control over. I am guessing that is is pretty difficult and torn to
keep a proper face to defend his daughter.

I am also guessing some of his behavior, especially some of the
attention seeking he probably passed down to Casey.


Now I feel bad for implying he might not be too bright. But ITA that his
life as he knew it is over, and he's responding in his own way.

Whether he is not too bright or not, or he is just crying out for
attention, (which I am more leaning to) I guess this has to be taken as
a bona-fide suicide attempt, and hopefully he will get the help he needs.

I guess his world to him has crashed around him, his daughter is
charged with first degree murder, his grandchild is brutally murdered.
The case against Casey Johnson is pretty overwhelming.


JMO, but I think George is suffering such deep grief over the loss of the
baby. Everyone says 'the loss of a child is the absolute worst loss one
suffers.' Caylee lived with George and Cindy her whole little life, they
were more like parents to her than grandparents. I can't imagine how they
are coping, it breaks my heart to hear that little baby's voice on the video
tapes.

Watching George and Cindy on those most recent tapes released, one can see
the agony they are in. They are at the end of their rope. Regardless of
their personalities, their denial, all of it, my heart breaks for them.
It's obvious they loved that little girl, and it's also obvious that someone
taught that child to sing songs, read books, I doubt very much that
*teacher* was Casey.
