There's always a way. You just
have to think it through and act. The RULES out there
are not more important than their victims.

Regardless of your life Johns, that "family" is beyond saving/
salvage. A part of it is gone, will always be gone, and no amount of
"therapy" will ever change that.
I have little doubt that they will always love their daughter, I don't
think they will ever *like* or respect her again. You do not "move
on" from the death of a grandchild possibly at the hands of her own
parent. If one half (hell one fourth) of what has been heard is true,
Casey is going to jail, for a very long time.
I honestly think that Cindy is lying (to herself and everyone else)
about how innocent she thinks her daughter is. To admit she believes
Casey is guilty would place a certain culpability on mom (what did *I*
do wrong) deserved or not, and mom isn't willing to go that route.
Casey is the way she is because of enablers. No one ever held her
responsible for anything she did wrong, and that starts early.
Neither of her parents made her responsible for what she did, no
friends, no friends parents, no teachers, no employers. *If* (and
that's a big if) she'd been made to "own up" to things she'd done in
the past, she might have had a shot at being what is commonly called a
normal person.
Unless and until she owns up to her personal culpability now, she will
never "move on" (and regardless of her guilt in the outcome, she
*started* the whole mess - see Poe's message about best case). Do you
see her admitting she made a mistake? I don't.
I don't really watch CNN very much, but I caught it the other morning
when
they were playing new jailhouse videos of Casey talking to her parents.
She was whining about how she'd been in there a month and no one cares
about her or what she's going through, she's so miserable in there, etc
etc. Her parents didn't say what she wanted to hear and she had a
tantrum
and threatened to hang up the jailhouse phone and walk away, clenching
her
fists, barely containig rage. Then her mom was like "oh no don't do that
dear, blah blah blah".
It was sickening. Not one mention of Caylee (who at that time was still
supposedly just lost and not dead), it was all about HER.
---------------------------------------------
Just imagine the temper she must have had when around the 'little snot
nosed' one. Wasn't that how she referred to Caylee in her texts and
emails,
etc? It's probably a good thing that glass separated casey from cindy,
cause I think that could have been another 'going for the throat' times
we'd
heard about in the past. Hell, if she was my daughter, I'd have gone for
her throat myself. Now if someone could please explain all this to
*johns*.....................
Do you really think the 'little snot head' remark was so terrible? She
said it once, and it was in a text or email in which she was asking a
bf if she should bring Caylee over. And it was clear that if Caylee
wasn't welcome, Casey wasn't going. I think Casey is a lying psycho
killer, but using that phrase once didn't really stand out to me as
anything terrible.
I think johns is doing some sort of devil's advocate performance
piece. With all of the questionable arrests and people who do deserve
the benefit of the doubt, he chooses one like Casey to support.
-----------------------------------------------
My reference was more towards Casey's whole *attitude* with her parents in
that video and others we have seen. Someone with that sort of attitude does
not do well understanding or accepting that 2 yr. olds can be demanding,
impatient, whiny, etc., themselves. Ya know what I mean? Casey shows
herself to be totally self-centered and in no way able to put the wants and
needs of a two year old first IMO.
No, the little snot nose, in and of itself, isn't all that remarkable, but
coupled with casey's attitude, her selfishness, her inability to empathize,
I simply don't see her as being able to control that temper of hers any
better around a two year old than she has shown around her parents, friends,
Lee, etc. Her snotty *attitude* soars, again, IMO.
