Common sense, based on Casey's past behavior, says there was a
terrible, probably careless, accident, resulting in Caylee's death.
Casey tried to call her parents for help, and then panicked when no
help came, and tried to cover up the accident. Her dad nearly
discovered the body, and Casey really paniced and dumped it nearby.
Pretty sure Casey didn't go wading out in deep swampy water with the
body bag. Nonsense, when she could have dumped the body in the ocean,
or in a much more secluded spot. Most likely, Caylee was left in the
car overnight, and Casey did not wake up in time, and Caylee died in a
hot car.

But "innocent until proven guilty" does not mean "innocent until
consensus of the majority of newspaper reporters settles on the hottest
press". Or, Nancy Grace says so and threatens to turn you across her
knee if you don't agree with her. As for Casey's personality, she
clearly is her own worst enemy, but that is not a crime. I think
somebody spared the rod, and spoiled the child.

Johns, I totally completely appreciate your non-bias and your "seeing
the other side", but there is no other plausible explanation for the
smell of death in the trunk. A poopy diaper does NOT smell like death.
Nor does a stale pizza. Nor does the odor of road-kill on your tires
engulf a car like that, not ever. The smell of death was so strong in
that car that everybody in contact with it knew it was from a body. For
a trunk to smell that strongly of a rotting body, it had to have been
there for a while. For Casey to haul around the smelling dead body of
her child, all the while partying and carrying on, makes me think she
really does have some kind of mental illness, and went into "denial"
mode to cope.

IMO, I don't think Casey "intentionally" killed Caylee. I think you are
right on whatever mental illness Casey has as being a cause. I think
she was involved in Caylee's death completely and alone. I can believe
it was an accident possibly thru neglect because there are too many
loving videos and pictures to think that she didn't love Caylee. I
find it hard (wait, impossible) to believe that she could cold-bloodedly
kill Caylee because she was pissed at her mom.

You have to give up the innocence on her part, though. She is NOT
innocent. There is so much evidence against her that we don't know
allowing authorities to pursue the murder charges (without a body) that
we haven't heard. Give it up johns.

I wouldn't rule out the possibility that Casey may have murdered Caylee
because she was mad at her mom. According to Phillip Resnick and others,
revenge is one of the reasons mothers kill their kids, although usually
it is an act of revenge against a spouse.

A woman in Kansas, Deborah Green, burned down her own house and killed
two of her three kids because she was pissed at her husband. I see some
rough parallels between her and Casey in terms of personality and
attitude.

But it's also possible the death was an accident.
