I've always been curious as to what the actual numbers of atc readers might be. Certainly posters here have been contacted by folks involved in some cases, and the media has contacted some people. And there have been other indications of LE reading the group (remember the info about Danielle Van Dam's last hair cut, relative to the hair found in Westerfield's RV? How the length of the hair was indicative of how recently she'd been inside? It was reported that LE got the idea of looking into that from someone's suggestion on this ng IIRC). Be interesting to know who reads what.

No one from LE or the legal profession has contacted me, but Darlie Routier's mother, Darlie Kee, E-mailed me. I had written something about Darlie that Darlie, "Sr." didn't like [probably that I thought Darlie, Jr. was guilty], and she E-mailed me to tell me how the cow ate the cabbage. If I had been one iota more paranoid, I'd have taken what she wrote as a threat. I printed out the E-mail as a "souvenir", but I have no idea after all this time where I put it. Surely [dcms*] I didn't throw it away!
