Eyewitness News has learned George Anthony will testify against his

death.

Presumably George Anthony has been given "use" immunity. Otherwise he
could simply take the fifth. From what I understand "use" immunity means
his testimony cannot be used against him. But unlike "transactional"
immunity, testimony by others can be used against him.

I find it confusing that the article states he "will testify against his
daughter." George is being compelled to give information and he's doing it.
He's going to tell the Grand Jurors about what happened with the trunk.
That's a far cry from the melodramatic "he's going to testify against his
daughter." And it isn't clear to me he needs or wants any immunity. You
snipped the portion of the article which said Casey's brother Lee is
unwilling to testify. Makes me curious about Lee. I don't believe he was
involved in the crime. Early on, listening to the first phone call from
jail, he didn't sound kindly toward his sister or as if he knew anything
about the crime. hmmm.
