I have deep, deep concerns about Palin, but her parenting choices are
not among them.

The candidates' kids should be off limits whether they are adults or
children. Even if the rumors- and that's ~all~ they are at this
writing- about Track's alleged drug use are true, then it's fair game
to question Al Gore's competency based on Al Jr.'s *documented* drug
follies, to say nothing of Jeb Bush's kids' issues. And no one did
such a thing when they were running for or holding office, IIRC.

Enough is enough. Leave the kids out of it- regardless of which party
their parents are in. End of discussion.

Al Gore didn't use 'hockey dad' as a part of his platform. Sarah Palin
*uses* her kids when it's to her advantage IMO. She 'uses' the fact that
she's a *mom* every chance she gets. Walking the stage with her disabled
babe in arms. That's the difference IMO.

The children of the political candidates should be off limits, no
matter how hypocritical or self serving the political candidate appears
in public with his or her family.

There is enough questions about Palin's qualifications and stance on
issues to be argued and discussed, that her family should be left alone.


That would be all well and good, except the republicans haven't allowed the
press access to her. Other than Charlie Gibson, she's been off limits.
