You want to allow possession but not dealing, that's unreasonable.
You're not grasping the argument.

That is right. THey are making money not for the act of selling a
commodity, but for doing something illegal. If someone made their own
brew, and ignored all the laws and sold it to anyone who wanted it,
would you allow that? But yes I agree with you drugs should be able
to be bought by people over 21, taxed, etc.

But people would still sell to kids under 21 who cant get it because
it will be a easy high markup.

Yeah, well kids are buying drugs right now. Making them illegal hasn't
stopped that. Criminalizing drugs has, however, created a whole lot of
other problems that would go away if we legalized them. It makes me sick to
think that there are non-violent people who pose no threat to society who
are spending decades of their lives in prison because of our war on drugs.
It's embarrassing that we have the highest incarceration rate in the world.
It's horrible that there are kids in foster care who should be with their
parents. And the abuses of the drug laws are scary. In another post I
mentioned a family who all got 10-16 years for selling lightbulbs -- they
owned a hydroponic store. Here's a link.
