Peter, is there some reason why everything you post turns punctuation into
odd characters? Can't you convert these large posts into plain text
before sending, or something? They're incredibly hard to read, especially
combined with the near-complete lack of paragraph breaks. It almost looks
like you're posting from word processing documents (where the curly
apostrophes and quotes all have to be changed to render correctly in plain
text, like HTML or mail or Usenet postings).

I had no idea. Plain text is my default for all mail and news. I'm
generally quoting either from various on-line sources, or from the New
York Tims Reader. Maybe that's the problem. Anyone else see this? I'll
see what I can do.


Other than the lack of paragraphs, mine shows up with punctuation intact.
Although I have, on occasion, seen something similar to what Amy describes,
I don't recall if it was from you or not. This one showed up fine on my
reader though.
