Maybe I missed it, but did we ever find out the full story of those
kids? Was anyone ever really in grave danger? Did the GF sell out the
BF? Was the charge he was arrested over the stolen car from RI? Why
did all their roommates move out? Seems like the whole story just went
away.

I found a message board at the time it was going on that had people that
actually knew at least his family, if not hers. The "latest" from there
(although not very current) is :
