They have corrected the story so it now says "battery by body waste,"
which probably means he spat on her.

Duh! That was my fault. I think it always said "body waste" (not "public
waste"). ...Still a strange-sounding charge, although I think it was
probably based on exactly what you said, or possibly the biting incident.

Ah. The biting thing. Funny, when I read the item and specifically that
charge, I somehow assumed he was flinging feces at her, like a monkey.
