Kristen Nielsen said Earl Stefanson, 43, attacked her on four

badly beaten Lamb to Highland Hospital in Oakland, where she died.
So how is it that Kristen Nielsen, after being attacked at Stefanson's
house once, voluntarily went back to the house at least three more
times? <<
Right, that's so unbelievable because it's never happened before.
Victims of
domestic violence never, ever, ever, ever return to their abusers a few
too
many times. :-p

It's the soc men equivilant of 'blame the victim'.
Imagine if one of your daughters had a boyfriend who beat the crap out of
her one day. She came to you, battered and bruised, but refused to file
charges.
And she kept seeing him.
Later, he beat her bloody again.
She kept seeing him.
Eventually, he beat the crap out of her a third time.
Do you think that at some point you might say to her, "Why do you keep
seeing him?"
Oh no, you could never say that. You'd be blaming the victim!
Tiny, sometimes the victim DOES share in the blame. You can be a victim
*and* also have shown lousy judgment, they aren't mutually exclusive. Can
you grasp the difference between dismissing a crime, and merely explaining
it?
