Missing Feehan grad now in jail

A missing Bishop Feehan High School graduate who disappeared on Valentine's Day was arrested early Thursday allegedly speeding on a Pennsylvania highway in a stolen motor vehicle.

Dan Querzoli, 22, was arrested 3:15 a.m. traveling south in a stolen 1999 Buick Century on Interstate 81 in Cumberland County Pennsylvania, said Trooper Karl Schmidhamer, a spokesman for the Pennsylvania State Police.

The vehicle was not the same vehicle he and his girlfriend, Amy Scott, 21, a Johnston and Wales student in Providence, drove off in in Providence after a reported fight the two had on Valentine's Day.

Querzoli, a former Norton resident who graduated from Bishop Feehan in 2004, is being held in the Cumberland County Prison on $50,000 bail, Schmidhamer said.

He faces two counts of receiving stolen property, one a felony for the car and the other a misdemeanor for a New Jersey registration plate he had, Schmidhamer said.

Scott, 21, was said to be with her family in New Jersey. There is no word on whether she has explained why the pair went missing.
The bizarre saga began on Valentine's Day when Querzoli, a Bridgewater State College student who now lives in Bridgewater, confronted Scott about her alleged cocaine use, according to media reports.

The couple fled Providence in Scott's roommate's car last Thursday evening. Scott called a friend on Sunday to say she was safe, but Wednesday it was reported that Scott called her mother to say the pair were in "danger."

Media outlets said Scott left Querzoli in New York City to return to her family.
