Not sure about that. Perhaps you are thinking of the Mann Law (sp?) which speaks of taking a person across state lines for criminal activity. Not sure just a car counts. Maybe if the boyfriend were with her against his will.


If the car were declared stolen, it would be Interstate Transportation of a Stolen Motor Vehicle which is a federal crime.
