Don't know how to kill file them, but if you are reading with outlook
express, I simply highlight the whole bunch of them, then click on edit, and
delete to make them disappear.

Me too Tiny.

But there are so many <sigh>.

I can't help but wonder if those responsible look for posts discussing it to ascertain if their flooding is having the desired effect. IOW, we've likely made them joyous...

That makes a lot of sense what you said, except everybody seems to have ignored it for some reason for weeks and it hasn't seemed to lighten up. It drives me crazy weeding thru everything trying not to miss a poster I enjoy reading.

I do what Linda does basically. Mark everything "READ". Then sort by date. Highlight and mark "Unread" the Topics or posters I like. Resort by Subject and read 'em. Ta Da.... Or, sometimes, I mark it all read, and move on, even on "normal" days....

WM

I do that too. But sometimes I get on and there are 200+ messages, I marked them read, then go back and there are another frikkin 100+ messages to do the same thing to. I try to keep an eye out for a regular poster in the midst. It still pisses me off dammit. There outta be a law. :(

I guess I'm not as flummoxed as some, as I find the nonsensical posts to be as logical and thought out as the "real" posts. I think that this group has likely been specifically targeted by someone who finds this group spoiled for them, so they think they are returning the favor. Someone bitter is who I have in mind, but <shrug>.....

WM

You seriously read them?

Just a few. They are as logical and thought out as all the cross-posted "actual" articles....
