I have been noticing for sometime now that there are many postings (over

The one thing they have in common is when you right-click and select
properties (using Outlook Express). They all have the same
"X-Complaints-To" address. Namely,
abuse@xxxxxx
Of course the other thing they have in common is none has a thread, as
they are all single postings.
Anyone know how to kill file these? I don't know of any message rule
that would keep them out of my newsgroup folders.

I don't either. There was a recent discussion about this problem in
news.admin.net-abuse.policy, which should still be on your server and
will give you some idea of what the admins are thinking. They don't have
any easy answers.
My understanding is that these script-generated posts originate from
hijacked computers. If you filter rr.com you will be filtering all
content from a huge ISP that probably handles content you want to see.
Apparently Supernews does a good job of cleaning this crap out of their
news feed so subscribers never see it. But when I had a Supernews acct.,
years ago, I noticed that a lot of posts that come through on Easynews
did not come through on Supernews, including stuff I wanted to read.
I have been cleaning the feed in this group by hand-selecting/deleting
headers.
