Re: Darwin's theory of natural evolution....

Good article. I agree totally that Education is a religion
of Status, and much of it is faked simply to prevent
Social "evolution" in the workplace.

However, Science is not done by educators ... and never
was. It is done by need and motivation, in the hands
of those struggling to survive.

Freud has the best answer to this issue. He said
that the personality is a conflict of opposites. We
believe both ways in all things, and the healthy
personality arrives at a state of balance that adapts
the person to their culture. Educators would push
us to believe in evolution, or receive a failing grade
and spend the rest of our lives in poverty. Fundamentalists
would shove their beliefs down our throats, for the
main purpose of dominating the job market and our
politics. They would totally control our lives for their
own financial gain. I don't see much difference in
either camp. Both are narcissists who see others
as the "enemy" who would deprive them of their
grandiose needs.

Freud ended his career with the declaration that
Narcissim was the worst problem in our culture.
Christopher Lash said that Narcissism is induced
by the huge number of individuals in our culture
who are suffering from this personality disorder,
which drives these individuals to dominate everything
just to support their infantile feelings of loss and
abandonment by their cold and domineering
Mothers. And there you are.
