Yeah, I think if we ever find out the setup, that we'll find a really
young/inexperienced mother, or drugs/booze, and an acceptance of lots of
(potentially shady) characters hanging around who are semi-friends, help
pay the rent, mebbe druggin'/drinkin' buds, share in the child care &
baby sitting, etc. I don't think the that sort of situation is all that
uncommon in certain economic or social groups. If that was the way it
was, perhaps Stiles offered to do more than his share of the housework
and child care to ensure nobody saw evidence of abuse on panties or in
diapers. Another thread said he was really into "mind games" (read:
manipulative). Prolly found it pretty easy to integrate himself into a
clan and make the best of it....
Yup. These clans like LOTS of people, because a few odd
jobs can support a lot of people when "everyone shares".
These are ALWAYS the kinds of people described as "the
salt of the earth, would give you the shirt off their back".
They are, aren't they? With that description applied to them, easy to
confuse them with 'regular folks' for whom that description is accurate.
Cripes. Nests of nasties.
