I am always glad to have tiny as an ally; always. However, I am not

I have a long history of arguing with Michael and I won't stand by while
he
attacks td. I'm not going to argue the accident with him, however,
because
of what he went through -- that might be too, oh, PTSD for him right now.
If he says I can, fine -- but if not I don't want to do something so
potentially harmful.

TD has an excuse, she
sits home on her thumb doing nothing all day and her mental
development stopped at about 15.

Lovely comment from someone who is telling us to grow up. You should take
your own advice.


I deduced that about choc long ago, the reason I put her in my blocked
senders list, along with her cohorts. The fact that we as a couple have
always done very well financially, affording me the opportunity to remain
home with my children, bugs the hell out of them for some unknown reason.
We were able to pay off our home, pay for our childrens educations without
them having a need to acquire student loans, and
purchase what ever we wanted or needed without help from anyone. For some
unknown reason, they find that to be unseemly. I did work for a couple
years, because I wanted to be out with people, helping others, and I enjoyed
it. But my husband really didn't like me to work. The main reason being my
working put him into yet a higher tax bracket, and he HATED that. Plus, he
has been with the same company his entire career, gaining promotions and
benefits that would far surpass mine. He has nearly two months vacation and
free days a year. He didn't like it that when he had off work, I very often
didn't or couldn't just take off. For him, my working was simply a pain in
the ass, so to speak. So I went back to volunteering my time with various
organizations. Solved the 'higher tax bracket' issue, plus when one
volunteers, one can be more flexible if they want to take time off to
coincide with their spouses vacation.

But like I said, that seems to bug the hell out of some. So one simply
can't win when dealing with such immaturity, hence the kill-file. :)

As for 'sitting on my thumb', what ever the hell that means. I've always had
hobbies. Everything from collecting antique furniture/refinishing it to
English smocking, and too many things in-between to even mention. Most of
last year was spent remodeling our kitchen at the old house, planning it
all, choosing all the various materials from the tile backsplash to the
granite countertops. I was quite proud of it, as it afforded us the highest
price for a home sold in our neighborhood up to that point. And come to
think of it, I was also choosing all the materials for our new home at the
same time. That may sound like *fun*, but believe me, it's hard work to try
and start from scratch and choose every single thing for a home, keeping in
mind that it all flow and blend together. Everything from the plumbing
fixtures/lighting fixtures, floor coverings, paint colors, to where various
wiring and outlets need to be located, etc. I hope to die in this house,
because I don't ever want to move again.

teaching is not a "job"? If it's the former, whatever. My posting
history
and knowledge should make it clear I am a teacher. Just google NCLB and
nimue, or something like that. Or not -- it doesn't matter. If you are
insulting the teaching profession, however, that is something else. Are
you
one of the many who look down on teachers -- the same teachers you allow
to
teach your precious children?
