And I'm still waiting -- but, wisely, not holding my breath. :-)
I had a rather sadistic adoptive parent; her entertainments included
having her dog attack me. Created a bit of a phobia, no surprise.
Many local and even state/provincial governments in the U.S. and
Canada have been enacting stricter laws in response to public outrage
over dog attacks. The kind of policy measures I advocate in this area
are no stricter than what they are passing, so I'm not exactly on the
fringe here. Though to listen to the dog lovers around here, you'd
think I was pursuing some kind of Hitlerian final canine solution.
