What seems to be the problem?
The Jail Nurse refused to let her take the second course of her
"Morning After" pill. That's the problem.
OK.
Plus, she was raped. An outstanding warrant could have waited....
I don't see any connection. If I was in an auto accident, and they
ran my license and discovered an outstanding warrant, they would
arrest me. They wouldn't say "aw, poor fellow, let hem go -- he
was just in an auto accident."
But, but, you're Michael Snyder. I wouldn't expect you to see the
connection. She was violated. Which is VERY different from being in a
car wreck, even if you land on the gear shift.
But, but, you're NOT Michael Snyder. I wouldn't expect you to
realize that
a) she SAYS she was "violated" -- that doesn't mean she was.
b) rape is not really a "fate worse than death" -- it doesn't
trump everything else that can happen to a person.
and c) the law has no reason to treat being raped (or saying
you were raped) as a get out of jail free (literally!) card.
Victim status -- just say no.
