'Implausible' Brimble witness breaks down

When you consider the weight of evidence and the nature of evidence from
everyone else, his evidence is just not credible.
A witness at the inquest into the death of Dianne Brimble has broken down
in
tears after being admonished for giving implausible evidence.
Dragan Losic wiped away tears as he told Deputy State Coroner Jacqueline
Milledge he was embarrassed to repeat what he saw and heard in relation to
Mrs Brimble's death on the P&O cruise ship Pacific Sky in 2002.

After Ms Milledge told him his evidence was not credible, Mr Losic changed
his story to admit seeing explicit photos of Mrs Brimble having sex with
his
friend Mark Wilhelm on the morning she died.

He later apologised to Ms Milledge for not answering the questions
properly.

Mr Losic admitted photos of Mrs Brimble and Mr Wilhelm were passed around
a
cabin occupied by a group of women in which he and three of his travelling
companions were partying.

He said they all laughed and made jokes about the photos.

He also admits taking the drug fantasy in the women's cabin, but says he
has
no idea how Mrs Brimble had the substance in her system.

The Brisbane mother died from a toxic combination of alcohol and fantasy
shortly after having sex with Mr Wilhelm.

Mr Losic said he was too stoned from the fantasy to realise there was a
problem when he saw a photo in which Mrs Brimble was unconscious and had
defecated.

He said the photos were shown to the women when they told Mr Losic, Mr
Wilhelm and their friends Ryan Kuchel and Petar Pantic that they thought
they were homosexual.

"Mark jumped up and said `we're not gay' ... that's how the pictures came
out," Mr Losic said.
