All the little things makes one wonder what these poor things have been
through before we got 'em. :( At night time she loves to lay with her
head on my shoulder and I tell her the story of her first day with us again.
;-) She seems to enjoy that.
Hey jlink, we went out to Bayleaf Peddler. Have you ever been there?

td,
I have a rescued Shih Tzu that was a horrible mess when she was found
at a trailer park by my Mother and Brother. They took her in but
weren't allowed to have pets. The landlord got wind of her and they
gave her to me. Her hair was so matted I don't know how she was able to
see, walk or eat. After she was cleaned up and shaved she just laid
around for about two weeks and didn't want to move. I kept trying to
get get her eat a little and just cuddle with her as much as I could.
When she finally realized that she was in a safe place and that I cared
for her she became my little shadow. Follows me everywhere I go. I hate
leaving her because when I come back home I see her little face looking
out the window waiting for me. We do the "happy dance" when I get home.
She's terrified of flashlights! I often wonder what happened to her in
the past regarding a flashlight. We keep them away from her and I have
to put her somewhere "safe" whenever we have to use one.
I just adopted a puppy that the uncle of the "evil ones" was trying to
give away to the family. Chihuahua - horrible diarrhea, parvo negative,
hookworm positive. Medicine and bland food but can't seem to get the
"scoots" under control. Any advice?
