There was a photo years ago. IIRC, it was found in a parking lot/shopping
center/store, something like that. Again, IIRC, they were looking for a van
it supposedly had fallen from. There was a boy about 12, very similar to
this one, gagged, tied up, along with a teen girl. Same thing, gagged and
bound, laying in the back of the van. I know at the time the speculation
was geared towards a girl who had been kidnapped within the past six months
to a year, again, IIRC. I can't remember if it was that girl who
disappeared in Florida many years ago? Her dad spent a lot of time and
money trying to find her. All this was probably 15 or 20 years ago. I
believe the photo might have been a polaroid.

Yes, here is the story of Tara Calico:
http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/c/calico_tara.html

The girl who disappeared in Florida was Amy Billig, who went missing in
1974. http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/b/billig_amy.html Both of
her parents died without knowing what happened to her. Her mother
spent the rest of her life--about thirty years--searching.

The remains of the boy were found in the same area where the family had
been camping, and DNA proved he was that family's son. Either he was
trying to rock climb and slipped, in which case the boy in the photo is
someone else still unidentified, or his abductors managed to return his
remains to the right area, presumably along with the same clothing he
was wearing at the time, and make it look like an accident.

was there ever any possibility that henley's father (or even both
parents) were complicit/involved in any way? Was anyone else with the
father & son on the trip? Maybe there was an accident & coverup?

curious and cannot find much info on this case
