Re: Britian Outlaws *CHILD* Porn and Outlaws Credit Cards for*Child* Porn Viewers

The Government is planning to criminalise material showing sexual
practices that it doesn't approve of, even if they're between
consenting adults.

If you and your partner film or photograph yourselves doing something
the Government doesn't approve of, you could go to prison for three
years.

Despite the impressions that the biased media reporting would brainwash
people into believing, it is not law yet and hasn't even been presented
to Parliament to make it law. Therefore it is not too late to do
everything you can to stop it. Put simply, if the proposals are made
law, if there is a picture on your computer that shows two people
engaging in an act that APPEAR to be life threatening or could lead to
serious injury, then you are in danger of being prosecuted and possibly
face a three years in jail. It is irrelevant that it is a picture of
people who have fully consented, have made themselves aware of all the
risks and taken all the safety precautions to minimise those risks.

A picture can only provide so much information and does not tell the
whole story. For instance, if a picture was taken of someone jumping
from the top of a high cliff, most people would agree that this image
would appear to show that person engaging in an act which is life
threatening. What the picture does not show is the fact that he has a
parachute on his back and that he has taken the necessary precautions
to minimise the risk by having received a long period of safety
training. The picture also does not show his experience and that he has
successfully completed over 500 jumps without injury.

A picture of BDSM play cannot put across the experience and safety
training that the participants have under their belts, nor can it show
the love, responsibility and respect that the participants have for
each other.
