Give this man a medal for what? Stupidity? He has ruined his life, the lives of his family, and taken another with life using vigilante justice. I have read nothing to substantiating the allegations hurled at the dead man. I have not even read of there being a medical report. Of course there may be more info but I have not seen it.

True, enough. He has ruined his life and harmed his family, even if the information proves true. He better get an excellent attorney who can set him up for a temporary insanity, or related, defense, and a jury consultant to help in picking a jury that will be more likely to be emphatic or sympathetic to his plight/reaction. If there is no evidence that the daughter was in imminent danger, I think he is screwed.
