That's not really accurate, I'm afraid. A judge in a libel suit ruled in
favor of the Ramseys, saying the preponderance of the evidence indicated it
was more likely an intruder murdered their daughter than did the parents.
The new DA in Boulder has stated they are now working on the intruder theory
as the favored one. That's not the same as "legally cleared". And as far as
public opinion, it does seem the tide is shifting in their favor, but
overall, it seems to me the majority of the public still is prone to
conclude the parents are behind the child's death.
