No, I didn't know that. My dad is going through this now. He's been
diagnosed w/ macular degeneration (the retina slowly degrades) and he's lost
a major portion of his vision. It's been very hard on him as his one great
solace has been his love of reading. As you can imagine, the disease has
severely impacted this favorite pasttime of his. It's especially sad because
his mobility is limited too due to a variety of health problems, so thise
leaves him fairly housebound.

Why, do you have voice software? My father had some installed on his PC
recently and it's really boosted his options for online recreation. Of
course, reading things on the screen helps because he can enlarge type. He
dropped his subscription to daily home delivery of the local newspaper and
instead reads it online. He's also been getting books w/ enlarged type from
the library and my sister has been bringing him books on tape.

Anyway, now that I know this about you, I'll make more of an effort to post
whole stories when I come across any interesting ones thast are relevant to
discussions here.

so, anyway,
after reading about the fifteenth mssage here today that said that John
Mark Karr looks weird, freakish, terminally ill, and so forth, i
thought, okay, what the heck, i'll go to google images and try to find a
picture. So i did, and HOLY ***. What is WITH this guy???? And what is
with the dead psychic who drew him, skinny nck and all, way back in
1998? Is that amazing or what?

Yeah, I saw the sketch for the first time today and I admit it's awfully
freaky. But I don't believe in psychics and I'm leaning toward thinking this
Karr guy is not the JBR killer.

If the picture of him on the job4teacher resume page was taken when he
was tending to those children during the "bathing and washing and
putting them to bed in Germany" phase of his creepy job record, then he
is definitely ill now -- because he has lost a lot of weight and a lot
of muscle mass since the earlier picture.

But who knows when that photo was taken? It could be pretty old, which means
JMK was a lot younger when it was taken. Most people's looks change as they
age and if he's been living on the run these last years, dodging the law,
etc., it's not surprising it's taken a toll on him physically.

Man, i really wish i had not looked -- the emotionless, bland head on
that twisted neck and tiny pipestem arms -- ugh.

ROFLMAO!! I *love* the way you phrased that! Especially the "pipestem" arms
part. LOL He does have sort of a puppethead look, doesn't he? A pretty
frightening puppet that would plague a child w/ nightmares well into
adulthood.

Like others have said here -- if he did not kill Ramsey, he still needs
to serve time for the child porn conviction in absentia and he needs to
be invstigated for other probable molestations and murders.

No kidding! I *want* this guy off the street! Permanently!

Compared to this guy, ol' BTK looks like ... well, like a loving dad and
the president of a Luthern Church. :-)
