The attitude of most Child Welfare Departments and their workers is
that the fathers only role is to pay child support and that is why
they never looked for the father. At least the daughter wasn't forced
into prostitution like so many other female teenagers in foster care.
Well, dad might have a little lack of diligence, there, too. Had he
ever asked where she was? I would if I was paying money for her care.
