It's pathetic that the American people will get so up in arms about
these two soldiers being tortured and killed. What do they think
happened to prisoners at Abu Ghraib? Seen the pictures of the corpses
after they'd been beaten to death?

Oh, but when it happens in a highly organized professional force like
the Army, it's a "few bad apples". When it happens among the thousands
of insurgents in dozens of small little gangs, it's indicitive of the
whole nation of Iraq.

You forgot one main difference. We are not celebrating Abu Ghraib. We
are sorry. It's not supposed to happen.

Some of us. Bill O'Reilly, for example, shrugged it off, saying
atrocities always happened in wartime

Not to defend O'Reilly but that is NOWHERE NEAR what he said Bo. But
bad things happenb in wars. When American troops do bad things they get
puton trial. Your HEROES on the other hand celebrate such bitchery as a
cultureal festival. BIG DIFFERENCE! We don't celebrate it, we condemn it in
our own.

.. And then (in typical O'Reilly fashion) followed with a completely
erroneous historical example, in
which he claimed American GIs in WWII had massacred German prisoners
(in actuality, the incident O'Reilly mentioned was the other way
around, German soldiers massacring American POWs).

No Bo you are wrong. Americans DID summarily execute some Waffen SS
prisoners. No trials.

With them, it's cause to celebrate, be proud, and try to duplicate this
horror as much as possible.

So what news sources in Iraq do you base this on? Do you read Arabic?
Do you read any newspapers from Iraq, or watch Al Arabiya, or Al
Iraqiya, or Al Jazeera?



Bo even you can't be ignorant enough not to know that there is now an
English language version of Al Jazeera up on satellite. Do you REALLY
believe that EVERYONE had bad translations of Arabic? That NOBODY can
translate their *** accurately? Are you going to play that game? Of course
you are, you love it!
