"We are conducting an independent investigation, and we intend to
the campus and interview lacrosse players," Shabazz said Thursday. "We
seek to ensure an adequate, strong and vigorous prosecution."
Oh, no fucking WAY can they be allowed to do that!
If they do that, the case gets thrown out before it starts.
I don't think they'll be allowed on-campus. There's no reason for them to
gain entry, as long as the city is allowing them to meet off-campus.
Anyway, why would any lacrosse player *want* to submit to their
"interviews"? This group isn't an investigating agency, so their
investigation would be worthless, no matter how "independent" it is.
Vigilantes.
Don't forget, Crackpot rabble-rousers. Hopefully the good gentle folk
of Durham County won't take the bait.
