Not all pimps beat their women in order to keep them in the business. I
happen to know a 'pimp' myself, and he has NEVER hit the woman that he
is 'selling'.
He put it himself "If I beat her, and mark her up, her value as a
prostitute goes down dramatically! There are PLENTY of women who are
willing to have sex for money, and pay me to protect them, so if one of
my girls wants to leave, I let them leave! I can always find someone
just as or more beautiful who is willing to work for me!"

Not all pimps fit into the "beat the woman in order to keep her in the
business" clique.

A good number of them do, I would say about half, but the other half
would NEVER do that.


So by your statistical sampling of one you can determine that 50% of all pimps do beat their women, and the other 50% do not. Incredible. And I do mean, *incredible*, as in " 1. So implausible as to elicit disbelief:"
