Thanks for posting these articles Anne. In an odd coincidence, I just
re-watched the "Heavenly Creatures" movie last night, the first time I
had seen it in about 8 or 9 years. I'd completely forgotten about the
time Juliet Hulme (now Anne Perry) spent in the sanatorium shortly
before the murder. It's interesting to be reminded of that last night
and then today I read a story putting blame on the medication she
received there. Hmm!

moment.) Very interesting to learn more about Pauline Parker. I think she
sounds like a non-crim and an interesting person indeed. Wish Hilary and
Anne would each write something about their lives, maybe they will before
they die. How Honora's murder could happen like that, it's still quite
mind-boggling. The movie is so lovely and creepy - hard to realize that the
lesbian aspect wasn't true apparently. Tho maybe it was, but only
emotionally, and not physically? This is one of those inexplicable crimes -
and so brutal - that captures the imagination of everbody isn't it?
