Perhaps you mean first communion? One only has to go through one
confirmation. I was confirmed before I was 14, and I'm guessing I was
somewhere around 11 or 12? I only know that it was while I was
attending a Catholic grade school which was through 8th grade, so age 13
is also possible. It was really not a memorable event for me if that's
not obvious. I did it because it's what my parents wanted, and I really
don't remember having a real choice. However, it was nothing I would
have considered running away from home over either.
