I just now heard on "Hardball" (MSNBC) that the standard in
hunting/shooting accidents is that investigators ask if there was any
drinking going on; but
in this case, they weren't allowed to ask that. Local authorities were
unable to get an interview on Saturday because the Secret Service said,
"No." Even Pat Buchanan says, "Why didn't the VP just invite the
investigators in and say, 'This is what happened'?"
Okay let's cut the BULLSHIT on this STUPID forum. The local Sheriff was
notified "IMMEDIATELY" and did their investigation. PERIOD!!!!
So, you're saying that it is common practice for the local Sheriff not
to interview somebody involved in a shooting for what? 15 or so hours
*after* the incident?
Yaffa how do YOU ******KNOW***** they did the interviews 15 hours
later? How does the DIPSHIT reporter from NBC ***KNOW*** that?
Well, I subtracted 5:00p.m. from, no wait, I subtracted 8:00a.m.
from... Now, just bear with me here -- the reporter was called by the
Lobbist Armstrong on Sunday... No no you've made me too anxious and my
fingers are all curled up so I cain't (sic) use 'em.
I am
amazed at all the WHINING about the "stone wall" and not getting
inforomation but all these FACT CLAIMS.. Such as "the sheriff did NOT talk
to anyone for 15 hours!" AMAZING how all these folks on ATC seem to
"ABSOLUTELY KNOW" these things.
Ah now that bit I remember it was that nice Mr. McClellon said the
appointment between police -- not the ones who went to talk to VP Dock
and the SS turned them away, ut the police who had made the appointment
and hadn't told the ones who went to talk to Cheney, just like this was
a real case, with real people -- at 8:00a.m. on Sunday. Cheney shot
Whittington at approximately 5:00p.m. Saturday -- you do the maths.
I am reminded of POSTIVE you guys were that
the fiance "DID IN" the runaway bride form Georgia. Without a shadow of a
doubt! He was just "GUILTY AS HELL!" There may well have been some
screwups. But as far as I hear there were about 20 Secret Service guys that
SAW what went on and talked to the sheriff early on. The desperate attempts
to blow this into a "watergate" is simply amusing.
It'll be even funnier if Whittington dies! How come Cheney wasn't
upset enough to have a heart attack, huh.
The Owner of the ranch told the local newspaper almost immediately. It
took
the newspaper 12 hours to get it on their website.
When was the White House informed and by whom?
Why does that matter?
It matters because the Vice President of America shot someone. That
matters/
Do you see black helicopters?
I live in New York, so yes, there are black helicoptors most days; some
days we even have the whole black suited, helmeted boys with the big
dogs.
Are the ALIENSS
involved Yaffa?
Don't be silly. If you are this upset over an "accident" how do you
feel that the *victim* had what is being called a minor heart attack
because some of the shot has lodged in his heart. When ya bring in the
'ALIENSS" it makes it clearer than THE GREAT BIG CAPITAL LETTERS do
that you have no argument, so why don't you consider for a minute how
very serious this is. Add this to the other mishaps of this
administration (and "mishaps" is an understatement), add in the lies
that are now out in the open and cross your fingers that the Vice
President of America is not going to be brought up for involuntary
manslaughter. At least Burr gave Madison an equal shot -- no pun
intended!
Hey guys BFD!!!!!
I enjoyed the White House presser and especially the TANTRUM of the
little
boy from NBC who WHINED incessantly that HE wasn't called! The White
House
Press Corps...
Oh me too! I was *most* amused to learn that the White House Press
Secretary was called at 6:00a.m. on Sunday morning.
Hey HE would be at the TOP of **MY** list of "gotta call" guys!
Oh Jesus what a bunch of whining little DORKS!
WAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!! Like 2 year olds..
They can't disguise it when they go: " WAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!! "
They're not called the Terrible Twos for nothing are they?
ASll pissed out of shape that THEY were not told first. That they had to
WAIT for a rinky dink Corpus Christi newspaper to blog it! God that had to
chaffe that DIMWIT from NBC's ass that HE wasn't the first guy called.
WAAAAAAAHHH!
Now you really are being silly and argumentative, I think, just for the
sake of arguing. Does "We the People" mean anything to you?
And the STUPID questions.......... Hey, and those press guys think they
are America's "ELITE!"
Well, Bush and VP Dick certainly think they're America's "ELITE," and I
think we can all assume that the SS thinks Cheney is one of the "ELITE"
since they wouldn't let him be treated like a <gasp shock horror>
ordinary person! (pssst! why are we spelling elite "ELITE"?)
Don't look now but they ARE the elite. Bush IS the PRESIDENT, ya know
Yaffa?
cough cough Yes, George Bush is the president, dear. And the man who
shot another man, whose SS minders kept the police away, whose medical
staff follow him from place to place went to the aid of the shooting
victim, and since I understand that the Sherriff found out when an
ambulance was sent out, it's safe to assume, I'd say that the ambulance
kept on standby for the Vice President of the United States of America
was not used to take the injured man to the hospital, is the Vice
President of the United States. That does not entitle him to keep the
country in the dark when he shoots somebody. I guess you're just one
of those people who believes what those in authority say not matter
when they say it, how they say it and -- last but not least -- no
matter how much truth is in what they say. That's fine. You're
allowed to believe the VP's silence was not due to anything like, say,
as a for instance, being drunk and having to get sober before talking
to the police, or even just simply thinking it isn't important enough
to even mention. You are allowed. Others are allowed to question what
is said and done, not said and not done by the Vice President of the
United States of America. I am one of those people. And listen son,
they have a great big press/public relations office, they don't need
you to say the Vice President of the United States of America is just
another man who has an accident with a gun. But I'm sure he
appreciates it anyway (actually I don't think so but it might serve as
a sop to you to think he cares in any way, shape or form about you --
or me!)
I wish I had a tape of that Saturday Night live skit during Desert Storm
of
the press conference by Schwarzkopf.... These reporters THINK they are
America's BRIGHTEST!
And that would be relevant, how?
Just to demonstrate how STUPID the press in America is. Like the BIMBO
reporterette shoving the microphone in a guy's face who has just had the
lower half of his body blown off and asking the guy "HOW DOES IT FEEL!" Now
it take a GIANT intellect to ask THAT incisive a question! WOW!
And how did he feel?
Or the
brilliant network Anchor asking a mother who is watching he only daughter
being EATEN by a shark "how it feels to watch her daughter be digested by
the shark!" Man that takes an IQ in a number I bet you can't count up to!
Actually, I doubt that very much. But don't worry, it's a very common
thing for most people to judge by their own standards and with all your
WORDS IN CAPITAL LETTERS and BIMBO (oh puh-leeze) I think we can all
work out your IQ. Even I have enough fingers for that!
Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Don't tell them the truth!
Got it! And there I thought that you didn't understand the
significance of the Vice President being involved in a shooting and
hiding behind the SS, being pandered to by the local Sheriff, and the
public not being told until 18 - 24 hours later. But, I have to say,
I'm getting a small part of my tax dollars returned to me in humorous
anecdotes. 'fanks, mate!
Yaffa the whole deal is about as significant to stopping the presses
because the VP took a healthy SHIT!!!!
In the woods, with the bears. I doubt it.
Accidents happen. I grew up in
Wisconsin. It was never unusual during hunting season to see a body count of
near 1,000 every year! I swore off hunting the year my Buick Gran Sport got
killed! And it was only a week old!
Well, my oh my. A country boy! I'd never a guessed.
