I got the feeling Ashford made this up out of some internal ideation.
He might remember it as fact, but I doubt it ever happened.

It's too mentally convenient for his pathology for him to have
"memories" for a little girl beating him. What he craves is an excuse
to be attracted to girls - it's out of his control, the girls are the
active aggressors and he is the victim. The fantasy babysitter fits too
many criteria of Ashton's wish fulfillment to be entirely real.

Did you look at the pages about the Nepalese Cult of Kumara? No kiddie
porn there, but fascinating stuff. Catherine Yronwode would LOVE it.

He also has a long list of "girl lovers" on the site, which includes men
who married or loved teenagers. Out of the whole list, I found about 5
actual pedophiles who preferred girls to post-menarche adolescents.
Ashton is casting a wide net to justify his fucked up head.

Thanks for admitting this. I spent some time going through the site to
get a feel for this guy, though I wasn't going to talk about it until
someone else did.

Did you notice how his photos of himself mimic that Jacko-style innocent
tilting of the head, sweet smiles, empty eyes? Ashton also repeats the
Jacko mantra so often - I would never hurt a child. I can practically
hear him lisp those words in a feathery voice just like Jacko.

He has spent time in at least 2 mental institutions. His girl love is
obviously obscuring a much deeper mental illness. Ashton's pedophilia
isn't his lowest point. There's something he feels is much worse, more
terrible or hateful, about himself that he's hiding.

I'd like to know why his mother was sent away and how she died, and some
more stuff about his father too. He doesn't seem to want to got there,
because that might lead to the conclusion that he has a real mental
illness, rather than a "healthy" love for girls. <shiver!> ick, ick,
ick!
