I referred to the PROGRAM's merits, not men's, women's, or even aliens.
I pass no judgement on anyone else's merits.

They are not eligible - for themselves. Why is this so hard to grasp?
MEN are not entitled to nutritional supplements from a grant program
targeted to a specific at-risk group - namely pregnant women, nursing
women, infants, and toddlers.
I'll repeat what I said earlier, but in stronger terms- anyone needing
help who doesn't explore any avenue is foolish. If a custodial male
doesn't pick up the phone and call WIC, or at least go to his public
library and look it up on the Internet, whose fault is that? I know
that, at least in Michigan, if you go in to apply for public assistance
(which would be a first step for anyone looking for help), they will
direct you to apply for WIC at the same time, as well as MIChild, which
provides insurance for pregnant women and children. If an assistance
office is discriminating against men, they need to be dealt with. I'll
even lead the parade.
There's a difference between serious issues of injustice (which men
certainly have their share of) and minor annoyances which are handled
quickly and competently through education. This, IMO, is a case of the
latter. The reason you are frequently hooted down, Snyder, is because
you unleash the same weaponry on rape of men in prison and something
small like this. And I am hooted down because I only post when I'm
ticked, which leads me to be pedantic. Forgive me.
