I don't know, I'm guessing they O.R.'ed him in the morning.

Like I said, I have no sympathy.

Even worse, I'm told this is his *fourth* DUI! The other three were many
years ago, the last one more than ten years ago, so I'm not sure they count
as priors (I would think they do, the attorney who told me about his arrest
didn't think so, but he's not a criminal attorney).

If the priors count, he's in deep trouble. In California, your third DUI
earns you a mandatory one year sentence. But (?!?) eventually you do get
your license back.
