Abuducted 7- Year-Old Found




Los Angeles: On October 5, 2005 at 5:30 p.m. a 7-year-old female
resident of Canoga Park was reported missing from her residence in the
area of Sunnybrae Ave & Michale St. After searching the area for
nearly one hour the mother of the victim contacted the Los Angeles
Police Department. Officers immediately responded and established a
Command Post to search for the missing 7-year-old.

At 11:50 p.m. an alert citizen observed a young female, approximately
7 years old, walking through a parking lot in the area of Remmet Ave.
& Roscoe Blvd. The citizen contacted the police who quickly responded
and took custody of the girl. It was determined that she was in fact
the missing Winnetka girl. The victim was subsequently reunited with
her parents.

The investigation has disclosed that the victim was abducted from the
street very near to her home. The suspect in this abduction is
described as a Hispanic male, medium build, 40-50 years, wearing brown
pants and a green shirt. He was driving a black, unknown make or
model pickup truck with an extended cab and possibly four doors.

The investigation is continuing under the control of Robbery Homicide
Division. The publics are seeking the assistance of the public in
helping to identify the suspect. Anyone with information is

It appears that the money has been moved in the
president?s budget to handle homeland security and the war
in Iraq, and I suppose that?s the price we pay.
