How do you know they aren't? Written reports are coming out about the
loads of co-operation that is happening in that city - but they are
reaching the end of their physical endurance.

Some guy (yes black, with gold teeth and lots of ear rings and I'm sure
he loves rap) saved the lives of some tourists by stealing an SUV and
picking them up out of a dangerous situation. He drove them out of the
city with his family and where they found some sort of station with
food.

Now, if cameras had caught him stealing the SUV, what would YOU have
assumed?

Um, Betsy, this is happening as much as possible. But imagine trying to
clean feces without water, or triaging 10,000 people who haven't eaten
or drunken anything in 4-5 days - with NO medical experience. No
doctors or nurses in the superdome.

The people who went to the superdome were following orders. They were
told not to worry, they would be taken care of, their sick relatives
would be taken care of. Yeah, they could have stayed in their
neighborhoods and tried to get something together, but they were told
not to. So, do you think they are hungry, sick, thirsty, tired and
pissed off?

Well then, happy you feel entirely comfortable judging people in crisis.

When our government is spending our taxes fighting a pointless war
rather than helping citizens through a catastrophe I hope they choke on
blame.
