Gas prices

Isn't it funny. A gas station owner gets 50,000 gallons of gas delivered
and he pays a certain price for it. An hour later, rumors start that gas is
going way up because of a hurricane. He "immediately" raises his price to
3.49 a gallon up from 2.55. Now tell me, how in the hell did the gas that's
just been delivered and paid for suddenly cost more?

This is a tidy little "profit" for gas station owners that nobody seems to
ever talk about. When the price of gas goes down do you think these owners
suddenly rush out and "lower" the price;; don't think so.

It certainly does "pay" to be the owner of a gas station and then blame it
all on higher up events.
