I think a lot of this sudden "remorse" comes from the fact that they are
seeing and hearing all the hype that surrounded the whole trial for the
first time. Maybe the "rumors as fact" have caused them to second guess
their decision.

Well, there's a reason why you didn't hear all that at trial, folks. It may
or may not be true.
