Crystal River Police
DUI arrest
* Lawrence William Noel, 61, 5107 Lamson Ave., Spring Hill, at 6:37
p.m. Monday on a charge of driving under the influence.
His bond was set at $5,000.
Other arrests
* James John Perkins, 37, 8735 W. Charlynn Lane, Crystal River, at 8:44
p.m. Sunday on a charge of use of explosive fireworks without a permit
and resisting/ obstructing an officer without violence.
Police responded to a vacant grassy field where skyrockets were being
launched. The officer saw a 10-year-old boy light a skyrocket and told
the boy's father he was illegally using flying/explosive fireworks,
according to an arrest report.
The officer told the man he was going to seize the illegal fireworks,
however, he would not charge him with possession of them as long as he
was cooperative, according to the report. This made the man angry,
telling the officer he would not allow him to take his fireworks
because he just spent $400 on them.
The man continued to walk in circles, wave his arms and yell
obscenities, so the officer arrested him.
His bond was set at $1,000.
* Nicholas Blair, 36, 1612 Nightshade Drive, Crystal River, at 7:18
p.m. Monday on charges of possession of a controlled substance,
possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a driver's
license.
His bond was set at $5,650.

Arrest
* Elizabeth Lucy Julien, 24, 904 B. Turner St., Clearwater, at 6:50
a.m. Tuesday on a charge of driving while license suspended/revoked.
Her bond was set at $2,000.

Arrests
* John Thomas Holloway, 28, 8808 E. Lake Breeze Lane, Inverness, at
6:30 p.m. Saturday on a charge of operating a boat under the influence
of alcohol.
His bond was set at $1,000.
* Justin Parrish, 22, 5770 N.E. 87th Court, High Springs, at 10 p.m.
Monday on a charge of operating a boat under the influence of alcohol.
His bond was set at $500.
Citrus County Sheriff
Domestic battery arrests
* Robert McKinnon Jr., 32, Inverness, at 2:54 p.m. Sunday on charges of
domestic battery and aggravated assault.
A deputy responded to an Inverness apartment in reference to a battery.
A woman told the deputy she got into an argument with McKinnon because
a girl, who he wasn't supposed to be talking to, called him, according
to an arrest report.
The woman said McKinnon tackled her and threatened to smash her windows
with a car jack, according to the report. McKinnon told the deputy he
didn't hit the woman, but he did threaten her car windows.
No bond was set.

* Dominick Geloso, 42, 5445 E. Jasmine Lane, Inverness, at 9:27 p.m.
Sunday on a charge of driving under the influence.
His bond was set at $1,000.
* Virginia McClelland, 48, 6237 S. Gross Ave., Homosassa, at 10:51 p.m.
Monday on a charge of driving under the influence.
Her bond was set at $1,000.
* Daniel Thomas Forte, 46, 4125 W. Picnic Lane, Homosassa, at 12:18
a.m. Tuesday on a charge of driving under the influence.
His bond was set at $500.
* Jeremy Wayne McKinney, 25, 7991 E. Emerald Lane, Floral City, at
12:19 a.m. Tuesday on a charge of driving under the influence.
His bond was set at $500.
Other arrests
* Kari Marksteiner, 28, 5541 Orchard Trail, Monee, Ill., at 2:16 p.m.
Sunday on a charge of petty theft.
A deputy responded to the Homosassa Wal-mart in reference to a report
of a retail theft.
Marksteiner admitted to putting three bathing suits and a toe ring in a
Wal-mart bag without paying for them, according to an arrest report.
She said she did it because "she didn't know exactly what bathing suit
she wanted to keep so she took all three and did not have enough money
pay for them," according to the report.
Her bond was set at $250.
* Ralph Lawrence Schmindheini, 35, 8015 W. Fandango Court, Crystal
River, at 9:05 p.m. Saturday on a charge of driving while license
suspended/ revoked.
His bond was set at $1,000.
* Angelique Fitzpatrick, 22, 1200 Tamiami Lane, Inverness, at 3:08 a.m.
Sunday on a charge of battery.
Her bond was set at $500.
* Eugene Cusick, 41, 10083 N. Dunedin Road, Dunnellon, at 6:34 p.m.
Sunday on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug
paraphernalia.
He was released on his own recognizance.
* Jamie Leclear, 36, 1375 S. Skyway Ave., Homosassa, at 7:43 a.m.
Monday on a charge of drug paraphernalia.
He was released on his own recognizance.
* Tristan Lee Brumm, 23, 4950 S. Corbett Ave., Lecanto, at 5:45 p.m.
Monday on a charge of operating a boat under the influence of alcohol.
His bond was set at $500.
* Christopher Mills, 18, 5835 S. Happy Drive, Homosassa, at 7:33 p.m.
Monday on charges of cultivating marijuana and driving with an illegal
license plate attached.
His bond was set at $5,250.

* A burglary was reported at 5:13 p.m. Friday, between noon Monday,
June 27, and 4:45 p.m. Friday, at the 8100 block of East Derby Oaks
Drive, Floral City.
* A burglary was reported at 5:31 p.m. Monday, between 3 and 5 p.m.
Monday, at the 10800 block of West Halls River Road.
Thefts
* A theft was reported Thursday, between 3:30 and 5:02 a.m. Thursday,
at a residence at the 3000 block of West Challenge Court, Dunnellon.
* A representative of the Key Training Center, North Van Nortwick Road,
Lecanto, reported at 8:50 a.m. Friday a theft at a storage shed at the
center. The theft occurred between 5 p.m. Saturday, June 25, and 8:30
a.m. Thursday.
* A representative of Rusaw Homes, West Colbert Court, Beverly Hills,
reported at 4:48 p.m. Friday a theft at a construction area, between
noon and 3:30 p.m. Friday, at the 900 block of East Whitecloud Lane,
Hernando.
* A representative of Mac's Tires and Auto Repair, South Florida
Avenue, Floral City, reported at 10:18 p.m. Friday a theft, between 2
p.m. Thursday and 8 p.m. Friday, at the business.
* A representative of NSB Properties, Crystal River, reported at 11:15
a.m. Saturday a theft, between 4 p.m. Saturday, June 25, and Saturday
at a residence at the 11800 block of West Gallery Lane, Crystal River.

* An employee at Citgo, West Gulf-to-Lake Highway, Crystal River,
reported a gas drive-off theft at 12:29 p.m. Monday. The theft occurred
at noon Monday.
* A fraud, theft and vandalism were reported at 3:40 p.m. Monday at a
residence at the 2300 block of West Jonquil Drive, Dunnellon. The
crimes occurred Friday.
* A representative of the Citrus County Chronicle, North Meadowcrest
Boulevard, Crystal River, reported at 4:30 p.m. Monday a theft at Dr.
Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, Inverness. The theft occurred at 2 a.m.
Monday.
* An employee at Winn-Dixie, East Highland Boulevard, Inverness,
reported at 7:25 p.m. Monday a theft at the supermarket. The theft
occurred at 7:20 p.m. Monday.
* A theft was reported at 7:39 p.m. Monday at the 200 block of East
Dampier Street, Inverness. The theft occurred at 6:45 p.m. Monday.

* A case of vandalism was reported at 9:03 p.m. Sunday, June 26,
between 7 and 9 p.m. Sunday, June 26, at a residence at the 6600 block
of West Oaklawn Street, Homosassa.
* A case of vandalism was reported at 2:48 p.m. Friday, between 9:30
and 11 p.m. Thursday, at a business parking lot on Courthouse Square,
Inverness.
* A case of vandalism was reported at 8:35 a.m. Saturday, between 5
p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday, at a residence at the 6500 block of
South Dolphin Drive, Floral City.
* A case of vandalism was reported at 12:43 p.m. Saturday, between 4
a.m. and 12:43 p.m. Saturday, at the 800 block of Stately Oaks Drive,
