That's rather specious. Acupuncture works but it is not part of
standard medical treatments.

Nonsense. There is not one iota of evidence that acupuncture has
any action beyond that of a placebo.

Brian!! Good to hear from you!!!

This thread, as you know, is about HOMEOPATHY
in which I have for some time desired to learn more.

I was hoping to learn more of the royals' use of homeopathic
doctors, and is there a specific school of homeopathy which they
prefer, that sort of thing.

As for Acupuncture, for every link that you care to give claiming
Acupuncture does not work, is a placebo, and so on, I refer you to
google where you find an equal number of links that it does work, that
people unhelped by "standard medicine" have been CURED or their
condition ameliorated by acupuncture treatments that people are being
helped in the recovery from chemotherapy, ashtma, arthritis,
intractable back pain that is not helped by western drugs,
breaking addictions to smoking or to drugs and many many other
things.

In addition, if it were all a sham, the Chinese seem to have kept this
"deception" going for over 4,000 years; and the Japanese. Do you
really think the Chinese and Japanese are that stupid?

You may be surprised to learn that in China the Acupuncture hospitals
are right next door to the standard hospitals. Some patients who do
not or are not responding well to western treatments are sent to the
Acupuncture wards
and some people for whom Acupuncture was ineffectual or insufficient
are sent right over to the "standard" (sic) wards. We might learn
something from this arrangement.

There are indeed some people for whom acupuncture treatments
accomplish nothing but HERE is the shocking thing -> there are some
people for whom conventional standard medicine treatments do
absolutely nothing.

Now can we PLEASE get back to homeopathy and if you know something
about the royals useage of it please tell us!

I really would like to learn more. Likewise, any books or good links.

Thanks!
