Is it me or has the 'Topic List' changed appearance?

This "Topic List" you're referring to appears to be a function of Google
Groups, and, as such, only affects those who use Google Groups. Those
of us who use a Usenet Newsreader never see a "Topic List".

Perhaps your Google Groups customer service rep can explain what changed
and why.
